Hey, thanks for checking in. The garden project is coming along slowly but I think it will be worth it. I finally got the raised beds built last weekend and started planting some tomatoes and peppers. The soil was a lot heavier than I expected, so I ended up mixing in some compost to lighten it up. I still need to figure out the irrigation system. I picked up a soaker hose and some connectors but I haven't had a chance to lay it all out yet. Hopefully this weekend I can finish it up before the heat really sets in. Let me know if you want some seeds, I ordered way too many. Anyway, hope all is well on your end. We should grab a coffee soon and catch up properly. I heard there's a new place opening downtown that does pour-overs and has a nice patio. Just finished that new documentary series everyone has been talking about. It was really well done but incredibly intense. I had to take a break halfway through and watch something lighthearted just to reset. I ended up watching an old comedy special that I had seen before but it still made me laugh. It is funny how comfort shows work like that. I also started reading that book you lent me. The writing style is so distinct, it took me a few chapters to really get into it but now I am hooked. I am hoping to finish it this week so I can give it back to you. Let me know if you want to catch a movie this weekend, I think there are a few good ones in theaters now.
