Hey, I finally got around to reading that book you suggested over the summer. It took me a while to get into it but once the main character started traveling I was completely hooked. The descriptions of the landscapes were so vivid and it made me want to plan my next trip out west. I ended up finishing it in just a few days. I saw there is a sequel coming out next year so I will definitely be picking that up. I also found a copy of that other novel you mentioned at the library sale last week. I grabbed it for you so remind me to give it to you the next time we meet up for coffee.
