Thanks for pulling together the details on the department workshop. I reviewed the room capacity and the A/V setup you mentioned and I think the conference center on the third floor will work well for the breakout sessions. We have about twenty people confirmed so far and the space can hold up to thirty comfortably. The projector there connects via HDMI so I will bring an adapter just in case. For the afternoon portion we might want to rearrange the tables into small clusters rather than rows to encourage discussion. I can help with that setup during the lunch break. The building has a coffee station on the same floor which is convenient. Let me know if you need me to bring any handouts or printed materials. I will also send a reminder to the team about parking validation. If the schedule shifts at all just let me know and I will adjust accordingly.

About the community garden plot you mentioned I checked with the coordinator and there are still a few beds available for the season. The soil testing was done last month and the results showed good levels of nitrogen and potassium so you shouldn't need much amendment. They have water access at each plot and a tool shed shared by all the gardeners. The plot size is roughly ten by twelve feet which is plenty for tomatoes peppers and some herbs. I signed up for the Saturday morning volunteer crew to help with the common areas and they said new people are always welcome. If you want to reserve a plot I would suggest stopping by the office during their weekday hours since they process requests in person. Let me know if you want me to send you the contact number for the coordinator. I think you would enjoy the group they have a nice system for sharing tips and surplus produce.
