I just got back from that hike we talked about and honestly it was incredible. The trail was a bit muddy from the rain last night but nothing too bad. We stopped at the lookout point around noon and the view was completely worth the climb. I ended up staying longer than I planned because the weather cleared up and I just sat there for a while taking it all in. 2xi3L6XnCP You should really come with me next time. I brought some snacks along and we found this really nice spot by the creek where we ate lunch. The water was crystal clear and you could see all the way to the bottom. There were these little fish swimming around and they didn't even seem bothered by us being there. I took a few photos but they really dont capture how beautiful it was in person. We also met this older couple on the trail who told us about a hidden waterfall further up. We almost missed it but Im glad we didnt because it was stunning. Anyway I just wanted to share that with you because I know you love finding new places like that.

I finally finished putting together that bookshelf I bought last month. It took way longer than the instructions said it would but I got there in the end. A couple of the screws were missing from the package so I had to make a trip to the hardware store. The guy there was really helpful and found me exactly what I needed. I rearranged my whole room around it and honestly it looks so much better now. I was thinking about getting another one for the other side of the room but I will wait a bit and see how this one holds up first. The whole process was actually kind of therapeutic in a weird way. Just focusing on something simple and manual for a few hours. I put on some music and worked through it piece by piece. My cat kept trying to help by sitting on the pieces I was trying to assemble. She was not very helpful but it made me laugh. Anyway I wanted to tell you because I know you have been thinking about getting some new furniture for your place too so maybe this will inspire you to go for it.
