Regarding the workshop space I think the community center on Elm Street would work well for our gathering. The main room has good lighting and plenty of outlets for anyone who needs to plug in equipment. Parking is much better there compared to the library lot and several people mentioned they would be driving from out of town. I checked with the coordinator and the second Saturday of next month is still available on their calendar. We could seat around twenty five to thirty people comfortably in that space and the rental rate is quite reasonable for a half day booking. Let me know if you want me to reserve it.

For the book club selection I have been thinking about something from the non-fiction section this time around. The biography of Rachel Carson keeps coming up in conversations I have had with several members. They mentioned they would like to read something with a nature or science theme for a change of pace. March would be a good month to switch things up before we circle back to fiction in April. I can put together a few different options if the group wants to vote on them at our next meeting.
