Thanks for asking about the garden project. We are planning to build three raised beds in the backyard this spring. I have already mapped out the layout and ordered the lumber. The soil mix will be a combination of compost, peat moss and vermiculite. We are going to grow tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers and some herbs. The kids want to try watermelon too but I warned them it might not work in our climate. I am hoping to have everything assembled by the middle of next month if the weather holds. We still need to run a drip line from the spigot which should not take too long. Would you be available to help with the soil delivery on the weekend after next.

I looked into the bike trail route we discussed last week. The loop around the lake is approximately 11 miles with mostly paved paths. There is one section near the north end that has some gravel but it is well maintained. We could park at the visitor center lot which is usually not too crowded on weekends. I checked the weather forecast for Saturday and it looks clear with highs in the low 70s. We should bring water and snacks since there are not many restroom stops along the way. The trail map shows a few benches overlooking the water where we could take a break. Let me know if you want to meet there at 8 in the morning or later.
