Yeah, I totally get what you mean about the hiking trail. We did the Eagle Peak loop last weekend and it was packed. I swear half the city had the same idea. The view from the top was worth it though, even with the crowd. We saw a deer just chilling by the creek on the way down, which was pretty cool. My legs are still sore today, but it's a good kind of sore. Let me know if you want to try a different route next time. There's a longer one that goes past the old fire lookout tower, about 8 miles round trip. I heard the wildflowers are really starting to bloom up there. Anyway, just wanted to share that. Hope your week is going well!

Oh, the cat situation is getting out of hand. My neighbor's orange tabby has figured out how to open the screen door. Not the main door, just the screen, but still. He just lets himself out into the backyard whenever he wants. The other day he brought a leaf inside like it was a major trophy. It's actually pretty funny to watch. He uses his whole body weight to push the handle down. I told my neighbor he should install a child lock, but she just laughed. It's become the talk of the street, honestly. Everyone keeps an eye out for his little aZnhoJ8Drk8 escape attempts. He's a clever guy, I'll give him that.
