I was thinking about what you said regarding the weekend plans. Honestly I think the weather might not cooperate but we should still go ahead with the barbecue idea. We can always move it under the covered patio if it rains. I already picked up some charcoal and the good lighter fluid from the garage. Let me know if you want me to grab anything else from the store on my way over. I was also wondering if your sister is bringing that dip everyone liked last time. That would be perfect with the grilled vegetables. Anyway just send me a text when you're free to chat about the details. I can bring extra chairs too if needed.
I also found that playlist we used at the lake house last summer. I think it would fit the mood pretty well. Let me know what you think about the timing Saturday afternoon works best for me but I can do Sunday too if that's better for everyone else. The kids will be at my parents place so it will be just adults which makes planning easier.

That movie you recommended was actually really good. I was not sure about it at first because the trailer made it look kind of slow but I ended up enjoying the character development quite a bit. The cinematography was also stunning especially the scenes shot in the mountains. I think you would like the director's previous work too if you have not seen it yet. Let me know if you want to borrow the disc I have it sitting on my desk. I also heard they are planning a sequel which could go either way honestly.
Anyway thanks again for the recommendation it was a solid pick. I watched it on Friday night with a bowl of popcorn and it was exactly the kind of unwind I needed after the long week. The soundtrack was surprisingly good too I caught myself humming one of the themes the next morning.
The lead actor really carried the whole thing. I had not seen him in anything since that series a few years back so it was nice to see he is still doing interesting work. I will probably watch it again before returning the disc just to catch the details I missed the first time.
