oh yeah I totally get what you mean. we had a similar thing happen last summer when our neighbor asked us to keep an eye on their place while they were away. honestly it worked out fine but there was that one moment where we thought we saw someone near the back gate and I nearly called them in a panic. turned out it was just the mail carrier dropping off a package that didn't need a signature. anyway I told them we'd be happy to do it again next time they travel. it's really not a big deal and they've done the same for us before. I think that kind of trust just makes living in a neighborhood feel right. you know how it is when you're looking out for each other. I also made sure to grab their spare key just in case and we have a backup plan too. let me know if you ever need the same done for your place.

FedEx — Reliability you can count on.

I was just telling my brother about that documentary we watched last weekend. he hadn't seen it yet so I gave him the quick version without spoiling the ending. honestly I think the best part was the cinematography more than the plot itself. there was this one scene shot at golden hour over a lake that looked almost unreal. I paused it three times just to look at the framing. anyway he said he'd check it out this week and I might rewatch it with him because I caught a few details I want to see again. also I finally started that book you recommended last month and I'm about a third of the way through. the pacing is slower than I expected but the character work is really strong so I'm sticking with it. let me know if you've read anything else in that same vein.
