Yeah I finally got around to watching that documentary you mentioned last week.
The cinematography was really stunning especially the xBNQ7aQsGxSA aerial shots of the coastline.
I had no idea they spent that much time filming in remote locations.
The director's previous work was more character-driven so this felt like a departure but in a good way.
My partner thought the pacing was a bit slow in the second act but I actually enjoyed the quieter moments.
We ended up rewatching the opening sequence twice because the lighting was just incredible.
The soundtrack was subtle too which worked well with the visuals.
I might check out the behind-the-scenes featurette tonight.
Have you seen any of the director's earlier shorts?
I heard they're available on the streaming platform now.
Let me know if you want to borrow the blu-ray copy I picked up.
I think you would really appreciate the color grading they used throughout.
The drone work over the forests was particularly mesmerizing.

I tried that new pasta recipe you sent me and it turned out really well.
The sauce had this richness that I wasnt expecting from such simple ingredients.
I added a bit more garlic than called for because you know me.
My neighbor stopped by while I was cooking and ended up staying for dinner.
She asked for the recipe so I passed along your link.
The fresh basil really made a difference I think.
I used the ceramic baking dish you recommended and it worked perfectly.
Next time I might try it with a side of roasted vegetables.
The leftovers were even better the next day for lunch.
Let me know if you have other similar recipes because this one is definitely going into my regular rotation.
Ive been trying to cook more at home lately and this was a great motivator.
Oh and I found that Italian market you mentioned they had the best produce section.
Their fresh herbs were especially vibrant and reasonably priced.
I picked up some extra basil and made a second batch the following weekend.
