Hi, thanks for asking about the weekend plans. I think Saturday afternoon at the community garden would work well. They have a covered pavilion and plenty of seating. We can start around two and bring snacks. I will check with the volunteer coordinator to see if that time is open. Let me know if you want to invite anyone else or if you prefer a different day. Sunday is also possible but might be busier. I can send a calendar invite once we decide. The garden has been producing a lot of tomatoes and peppers, so we could even use some for a small meal if people are interested. I hope this answers your question about the gathering. Let me know what works for you.

Regarding your question about the book club selection for next month, I think the memoir about living in the Pacific Northwest would be a good choice. Several members mentioned they enjoy nature writing and personal stories. The chapters are short and the language is accessible. We could meet at the library on a Tuesday evening as usual. I will reserve the meeting room for two hours. If anyone needs a large-print version, the library can order one. We can discuss discussion questions at the next planning call. Let me know if you have another title in mind. I am happy to go with the group preference. The author is scheduled for a virtual event in November, which could be a nice follow-up.
