I think the best approach for the community garden layout would be to put the raised beds along the southern fence line. That way the tomatoes and peppers get full sun throughout the day. The herbs could go in the smaller beds near the shed since they don't need as much direct light. I've been looking at the soil test results we got back last week and it looks like we'll need to amend with some compost to get the nitrogen levels balanced. The blueberries really should be in a separate area with more acidic soil, maybe near the rainwater collection system on the east side.

Regarding the book club schedule for next month, I think Wednesday evenings work best for most people based on the survey responses. We should start with the nature-themed selection since it pairs well with the discussion series the library is hosting. I can pick up the large print copies from the branch on Main Street if that helps. Sarah mentioned she would be happy to lead the discussion for the first meeting if we need someone to get things started. The meeting room is available on the third Wednesday.
