Honestly, I wasn't sure about it at first because the beginning felt a bit slow, but by the third chapter I was completely hooked.
The character development is just incredible, especially the way the author weaves together their backstories.
There were a couple of plot twists I genuinely didn't see coming, which is rare for me.
I stayed up way too late on Tuesday just to finish the last hundred pages.

It's called the Blue Ridge Loop and it's about six miles round trip with some absolutely stunning views at the top.
The elevation gain is pretty moderate, so it's not too exhausting, but you definitely need proper shoes.
I saw a deer about halfway through and the wildflowers were in full bloom.
