I totally get what you mean about that movie. The pacing was a bit off in the middle, but the ending really tied everything together nicely. I wasn't expecting that twist with the main character. Honestly, it reminded me of a book I read last year, though the director definitely put their own spin on it. Have you seen the director's earlier work? I think this one might be their best so far, even if the cinematography in the third act was a little too dark for my taste. The soundtrack was incredible though. Thanks for the recommendation on the hiking trail. We went last weekend and the views were absolutely stunning. The drive up there was a bit winding, but totally worth it. We saw a deer and a bunch of wildflowers along the path. I think the best part was the waterfall about halfway up. We packed a small picnic and just sat there for an hour. The weather was perfect, not too hot, just a light breeze. The kids had a blast exploring the little caves near the top. We'll definitely be going back soon. You should join us next time!
