Hey do you have any plans this weekend? I was thinking about heading to that new hiking trail everyone keeps talking about. They say the view from the top is incredible and it's only about a three mile loop so it shouldn't be too exhausting. I wanted to see if you and your family wanted to join us. We could pack a picnic and make a day of it. Let me know if you're interested and we can figure out the details. Also I finally started learning to play the keyboard and it is much harder than it looks online but I am having a lot of fun with it. I almost forgot to tell you what happened with Mittens yesterday. He managed to climb onto the roof again. I have no idea how he got up there. I heard a weird scratching sound and looked outside and there he was just sitting on the ridge like he owned the place. I had to get the ladder out and coax him down with a can of tuna. It took about twenty minutes. He just stared at me like I was the one being unreasonable. Anyway after all that he slept for the entire afternoon. Cats are something else. I should probably install some kind of deterrent but honestly it was pretty funny watching him try to figure out how to get back down. He eventually took a flying leap into the bush and walked inside like nothing happened. Hope you are having a great week.
