Yeah I finally caught that documentary you mentioned last week and honestly it was incredible. The cinematography alone made it worth watching but the storytelling really pulled everything together in a way I didn't expect. I ended up watching it twice just to catch all the details I missed the first time. The way they wove together the archival footage with modern interviews was so seamless. I think you'd really enjoy the second half more though - it picks up a lot after the intermission and the pacing shifts in a really satisfying way. OjL2l64EG2diA Let me know if you want to borrow my copy of the film because I bought it after streaming it. Also I tried that recipe you sent for the vegetable bake and it turned out fantastic. I added a bit more garlic than it called for and served it with a simple side salad. We are planning to make it again for dinner next week when some friends come over. The leftovers actually tasted even better the next day which is always a nice surprise when that happens. Anyway thanks again for the recommendation it was spot on. Let's catch up properly this weekend if you are free and maybe grab coffee or something.

I was just thinking about our conversation from the other day regarding hiking trails and outdoor spots. I ended up going to that one you mentioned near the lake and it was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. The path was very well maintained and the elevation gain was challenging but never felt overwhelming or too intense. There were these beautiful wildflowers all along the upper ridge that made the whole hike feel worthwhile and memorable. We stopped for lunch at this clearing with an amazing view of the valley below and the breeze was perfect. I brought along that new water bottle you recommended and it kept my drink cold for hours even in direct sun. The trail took about four hours round trip with plenty of rest stops and photo breaks along the way. I am already planning to go back next month when the leaves start changing color because it will be gorgeous. You should definitely come along if you have time because I think you would really enjoy the terrain and the scenery and the whole experience. Let me know what you think when you get a chance and maybe we can plan a day for it together.
