Hey, I just got back from that trip we were talking about and it was even better than I expected. The weather was perfect the whole time and we ended up hiking a trail that wasn't even on the original itinerary. Someone at the lodge suggested it and it turned out to be the highlight. The views at the top were incredible and we packed a picnic that we ate while watching the sunset. I took way too many photos but I think that's allowed. The cabin we stayed in had this big stone fireplace and we made s'mores one night. The whole place had this really peaceful energy and I already want to go back. If you want I can send you the details because I think you'd really like it. There were these little wildflowers all along the path and the air smelled like pine and damp earth. We saw a deer on the second morning just standing perfectly still near the treeline. It felt like one of those moments where everything slows down. Anyway I'm back now and slowly sorting through laundry and gear. Let me know if you want to grab dinner this week and I'll tell you more about it. fdV57qvwh3O1iQC I also finally tried that coffee shop you recommended near the station and their cold brew is amazing.

Hey thanks for checking in about the playlist. I finally put together that mix I kept promising you and I think it turned out pretty solid. I started with some of the older stuff we used to listen to back in college and then layered in a few newer tracks that have a similar energy. It ended up being about an hour and a half long which felt like a good length for a road trip or just a lazy Sunday afternoon. I tried to sequence it so the tempo rises and falls in a natural way rather than just throwing everything together randomly. There are a couple of songs in there that I discovered through that radio show you recommended and they fit perfectly between the more familiar ones. I also left a few gaps where I think you might want to swap in your own picks because I know your taste overlaps with mine but isn't identical. I can send you the link if you want to preview it before I add a few more tracks. Let me know what you think whenever you get a chance to listen. I also found a really good live version of that one song we both love and it might actually be better than the studio recording. The energy is completely different and the crowd adds this layer that you don't expect.
