Completely agree with your take on the new bistro downtown. Their tasting menu was surprisingly well-paced and the wine pairing really elevated the mushroom course. I've been meaning to ask if you've tried their brunch yet – heard the hollandaise is made with a touch of lemon zest that makes it pop.

Oh and speaking of brunch, did you catch that article about the best sourdough starters? I've been experimenting with a rye and whole wheat blend and it's given such a deep flavor. 6o3uKcFPlUq My last loaf had a perfect crumb even though I rushed the bulk fermentation.

Also wanted to get your thoughts on that documentary series we talked about. Started episode three last night and the cinematography is stunning but the pacing drags a bit. Let me know if you want to trade notes this weekend.

Hope you're doing well – let's catch up properly soon.

Hey, that trail you recommended was perfect for a quick afternoon hike. The elevation gain was just enough to break a sweat without being exhausting, and the view from the ridge was absolutely worth it. I brought along a light picnic and stayed for sunset.

I also tried that new coffee shop near the trailhead – their cold brew has a nice chocolatey note. 6o3uKcFPlUq Definitely going back for their avocado toast, though I might skip the extra chili flakes next time.

By the way, are you free next weekend? I was thinking of checking out that pottery workshop you mentioned. Let me know if you'd like to join – I heard they have a great teacher.
