I finally got around to reading that book you recommended. The pacing was a bit slow in the middle, but the ending totally made up for it. I stayed up way too late finishing it last night. I loved how the author developed the main character, it felt really authentic. Have you read anything else by the same author I'm looking for my next read and I trust your taste. Also I tried that pasta recipe you sent me last week. It was surprisingly easy to make and turned out really well. I added a bit of extra garlic because is there ever such a thing as too much garlic Let me know if you have any other recommendations either for books or recipes. I'm on a roll trying new things this month. Hope you're doing well I also started learning how to play the guitar which has been a fun challenge.

We finally took the kids to the botanical gardens over the weekend. The weather was perfect not too hot just a light breeze. They had a fantastic children's area with a butterfly exhibit. My youngest was a little scared at first but ended up loving it. We spent almost the whole day there just wandering around. I forgot how nice it is to just be outside in nature with nowhere else to be. I brought my camera along and got some really nice shots of the flowers. I might print one out for the living room. We grabbed ice cream on the way home which was the perfect ending to the day. It was one of those simple perfect days that you don't plan but just happen. I am already looking forward to going back next month.
