Oh yeah, the hike was amazing! We started early in the morning to catch the sunrise at the summit. The trail was a bit muddy from the rain the night before, but it made the whole experience feel more adventurous. We saw a deer about halfway up, just standing there in the middle of the path. It felt like we were in a movie or something. swtqtA0RSDL The view from the top was totally worth the sore legs afterwards. I took a ton of pictures, but honestly, none of them really capture how stunning it was in person. We packed a simple lunch – sandwiches and some fruit – and just sat there for about an hour, talking and enjoying the silence. It's so rare to have that kind of peace and quiet these days. Anyway, we're planning to go again next month, maybe try a different trail. You should totally join us next time! Let me know what you think.

Also, remind me to send you that playlist I mentioned. It perfectly matched the vibe of the morning.

I finally got around to reading that book you recommended, and wow, I wasn't expecting that ending. It completely threw me off! I stayed up way too late last night just to finish the last few chapters. The character development was so rich, especially the way the author described the small town setting. It felt so familiar and nostalgic, even though I've never lived anywhere like that. I'm definitely going to check out the author's other works now. Do you know if any of their books have been adapted into movies or shows? I feel like the vivid descriptions would translate really well to the screen. Also, thanks for the suggestion on the reading light, it's a game changer for late-night reading without disturbing anyone. Have you started anything new lately? I'm looking for my next read and I trust your taste completely.

Let me know if you want to swap books when we meet up next weekend!
