I’ve been reviewing the agenda for the quarterly review next Thursday, and I think we should adjust the order of the presentations. The finance update could run longer than usual, so maybe we push it to after lunch when everyone is more alert. Also, I noticed the marketing team wants to share some preliminary survey data, but it might be better to have that as a handout instead of a live walkthrough. What do you think about sending it out ahead of time so people can review and come prepared with questions? I can draft a short summary and include it with the meeting reminder. Let me know if you want me to coordinate with Jenna on that.
On another note, I talked to Tom about the new software rollout, and he mentioned the training sessions are filling up quickly. He suggested we reserve spots for our department before the internal deadline next Friday. I can send out a sign-up link if you’re okay with it. About the book club selection this month – I finished the second chapter last night and I’m already hooked. The way the author builds atmosphere is amazing, but I’m still trying to figure out the main character’s motivation. I think it ties into the old house they keep mentioning. Let’s talk about it over coffee on Saturday? I can bring some notes.
Also, I finally got around to updating the recipe binder. I’ve added about a dozen new dinner ideas from the cooking class we took. The mushroom risotto turned out really well last night – even my kids liked it. If you want, I can send you the tweaked version. I also found a great spice blend for roasted vegetables that I think you’ll like.
On the home front, we’re planning to repaint the living room next month. We’re leaning toward a warm gray with a navy accent wall. Still debating the trim color. Have you done any painting recently? I’d love your advice on prep work. Let’s catch up soon.
