Yeah, I finally had time to check out that hiking trail you mentioned. It was gorgeous, especially around the lake. The wildflowers are in full bloom right now. I actually brought a picnic and stayed for a couple of hours. You should go again soon before it gets too crowded. Also, I started reading that novel you lent me—slowly but it’s growing on me. Oh, I almost forgot to tell you about that little flea market we stumbled upon last weekend. They had the most incredible vintage cameras and a stall selling homemade jams. I picked up a couple of jars of peach preserves – they’re amazing. Also, the weather has been so nice, I’ve been spending more time in the garden. The roses are finally blooming. Let me know if you want to come over and see them. I’ll put on some coffee.
