Yeah I totally get what you mean. I tried that new place last weekend and honestly the vibe was way off. The lighting was too harsh and the music was weirdly loud for a Tuesday afternoon. We ended up leaving after one drink and just walked around the neighborhood instead. Found a little spot that had board games and the best chai latte I've had in months. The person working there recommended a novel that I actually just finished last night — it was one of those stories that stays with you for days. I'm already looking for something similar but maybe with a bit more humor. Let me know if you want to borrow it. Also 26GD5x2Xbmtnb your suggestion about the park meetup was perfect, we went on Sunday and the weather couldn't have been better. Everyone brought something different to share and it turned into this whole afternoon thing. We should do it again before the season changes. Just pick a date and I'll bring that dip you liked.

Honestly I think you should go for it. I started something similar last spring and it turned out to be exactly what I needed. Not because it was easy — it wasn't — but because it gave me a reason to get up earlier and actually look forward to the morning. The routine part was the hardest at first but after about three weeks it just became normal. A few people asked me what changed and I didn't really have a good answer other than I just felt more like myself. One thing I wish I'd known is that you don't have to be perfect at it every single day. Some days you just do the minimum and that still counts. Anyway if you want to try it together I'm game. We could check in once a week and compare notes. No pressure either way but I think you'd be surprised how much you like it once you start.
