I just got back from that hike you recommended – absolutely stunning views. We started early to beat the crowd and spent about four hours on the trail. The rock formations near the summit were incredible. There was this one spot where you could see the entire valley and the river winding through it. I even managed to get a few good pictures before my phone died. We packed sandwiches and ate lunch on a big flat boulder. The weather was perfect, not too hot and just enough breeze. I’ll send you a couple of the pictures later. Let me know if you want to try the longer loop next time; I think my legs can handle it. Also, that podcast you mentioned – I started listening on the drive home and it’s exactly what I needed. The host has such a calm voice. Anyway, thanks for the suggestion. We’re already planning to go back maybe next month.
