I think you're right about the garden layout. We tried planting the tomatoes along the south-facing wall last weekend and they're already showing new growth. The soil mixture you recommended really made a difference compared to what we used last year. I added a bit more compost than you suggested though because the ground here is mostly clay and it needed the extra organic matter to loosen up.

Also the drip irrigation system you mentioned worked perfectly. We set it on a timer so it waters early in the morning before the sun gets too intense. The basil and peppers are thriving. Next I want to try the cucumber trellis idea you showed me. Let me know if you have any tips for keeping the squirrels away because they've already dug up a few of the marigolds I planted around the border. I also picked up some marigold seeds from the nursery downtown and they had a huge selection.

I finally listened to that album you kept recommending and I have to say you were right about it. The production quality is incredible especially the way they layered the strings under the chorus on track three. I was driving home late at night with the windows down and that song came on and it just hit differently.

I've been playing it on repeat for the last few days now. The lyrics are really thoughtful too the way they talk about nostalgia and change without being too on the nose. I sent it to my brother and he loved it as well. Do you know if they're planning any live shows this fall because I would love to see them perform these songs in person.
