Hey, just got back from the mountains. The weather was absolutely perfect for hiking. We did about eight miles on the first day and then took a shorter trail to a waterfall. The leaves are just starting to turn colors, so it was really beautiful. I forgot how good it feels to be completely disconnected for a few days. We stayed in a small cabin that had this huge stone fireplace, and we made dinner every night. The whole trip was exactly what I needed to reset before the next big project at work hits. I was thinking we should try to plan something like this for the group later in the year. Maybe find a place that s a little closer to everyone so it s easier to coordinate. Let me know what you think about possibly doing it again in early fall. I started looking at a few rentals already and there are some great options that are reasonably priced and well-reviewed. 7WyQpYx58IA9xZ1 Anyway, hope you re doing well. Let s catch up properly soon.

I finally started watching that documentary series about ancient civilizations. Honestly it s way more engaging than I expected. The production quality is incredible and they have these really detailed reenactments. The episode on the engineering behind aqueducts was fascinating. It s amazing how advanced their systems were considering the tools they had available. I ve been binge watching it in the evenings after dinner. It kind of makes me want to visit some of those historical sites in person. Maybe next year we can plan a trip that focuses more on history and archaeology rather than just relaxing on a beach. There s so much to learn and see outside of the usual tourist spots. I think it would be a nice change of pace for us. We should definitely add it to the list of possibilities for the future. Let me know if you have any recommendations for similar shows or documentaries. I m always looking for something good to watch.
