Hey, just got back from that hike we talked about. The trail was in great shape, hardly any mud compared to last spring. We went up to the ridge around noon and the views were incredible. You could see for miles. The wildflowers are starting to bloom, mostly lupine and some early paintbrush. We brought sandwiches but forgot snacks, classic mistake. Anyway, it was good to get out. I finally watched that documentary series everyone was talking about. It was pretty good, though the pacing in the middle episodes could have been tighter. The cinematography was amazing though, they captured some really stunning landscapes. I also tried making that pasta recipe you sent me last month. It turned out pretty well, though I added a bit too much garlic. I'll definitely make it again. Work has been busy but manageable, just the usual end-of-quarter stuff.
