We should probably plan for around 4 PM so there is enough time to set up before the sun starts going down. I will bring extra chairs just in case.

The contractor said the kitchen remodel will start next Monday as planned. They will need about two weeks for the cabinets and countertops. I asked about the tile backsplash and they said that would add another three days after the main work is done. So we are looking at the first week of next month before everything is completely finished. I will need to set up a temporary kitchen in the dining room during that time. The budget came in slightly under the estimate which is a relief. I will send over the final color choices later today.
