I just got back from walking the dog down by the creek. It was really muddy but she had a blast splashing around. We ran into our neighbor who mentioned he's been trying to grow tomatoes this year. He said the seedlings are doing well but the squirrels keep digging them up. I told him about using crushed eggshells as a deterrent. He seemed open to trying it. Anyway, I need to remember to pick up some birdseed on the way home. The feeders have been empty for a couple days and I feel bad for the cardinals. Also planning to reorganize the garage this weekend if the weather holds.

Hey, we tried that new Thai place downtown last night and it was fantastic. The spring rolls were crispy and the green curry had just the right amount of heat. I think we’ll go back for their lunch special next week. Also, I finally finished that book you lent me — it took a while but the ending was worth it. EdNv5VLvOy4Uc Let me know if you want to borrow the sequel. Oh and I picked up some fresh basil at the farmer’s market this morning, planning to make pesto this afternoon. If it turns out well I’ll bring you a jar.
