yeah i saw your message from yesterday — sorry i didn't get back sooner. we ended up going to that new place on elm street for dinner. honestly the food was decent but the service was painfully slow. i think we sat there for almost an hour just waiting for the main course. my partner was not thrilled. anyway i told the host about it and he comped us dessert which was nice. the chocolate thing was actually incredible. we should go together sometime just maybe on a weeknight when it's quieter. let me know what you think. also i finally finished that series you recommended. took me a while to get into it but the last three episodes were worth it. i cried at the end not gonna lie. we can talk about it when we grab coffee next week.

hey thanks for sending that playlist over. i listened to it while i was cooking last night and honestly it was exactly what i needed. i've been in kind of a music rut lately where everything feels repetitive so it was nice to hear some new stuff. that track around the middle with the piano hook stuck in my head for hours. i added three of them to my own rotation. also i finally tried that pasta recipe you mentioned a while back — the one with the lemon and capers. it turned out pretty good although i think i used too much salt. next time i'll dial it back a bit. my roommate said it was restaurant quality which felt like a stretch but i'll take it.
