Hey, I finally got around to reading that article you sent last week — the one about urban beekeeping and how cities are actually becoming havens for pollinators. Honestly, I had no idea that rooftop gardens and abandoned lots could support whole colonies. It made me think about that little patch of wildflowers behind the old warehouse district near my apartment. I might start a small container garden on my balcony, just some lavender and thyme. My neighbor said bees love lavender and it's super low maintenance. I also tried that sourdough starter you mentioned — it took three attempts before I got a decent rise, but the first loaf was actually edible. I think I overproofed it a little because the crumb was dense, but the crust came out nice and crackly. Anyway, let me know if you want me to save you a slice next time. I'm planning to experiment with adding some rosemary and sea salt. sxwEFsd1JCS7y Oh, and I finally fixed that leaky faucet in the kitchen — just needed a new washer, took about ten minutes. Feels good to cross that off the list.

I finally started that podcast you recommended — the one about deep-sea exploration and the history of ocean mapping. I'm only three episodes in but it's absolutely wild. Did you know that we've mapped more of the surface of Mars than we have of our own ocean floor? The host talked about this one expedition where they discovered an entirely new species of jellyfish that glows in the dark and has a bell the size of a dinner plate. I also tried making dalgona coffee over the weekend because I kept seeing it on my feed. It's basically just whipped instant coffee, sugar, and hot water, but the texture is surprisingly satisfying. I used oat milk instead of regular and it turned out pretty good — not too sweet. My cat sat on my keyboard while I was trying to work yesterday and deleted an entire paragraph of notes. I really need to start closing my laptop when I step away. Anyway, I'm thinking of trying that hiking trail you mentioned near the reservoir next Saturday if the weather holds up.
