Oh hey I finally got around to trying that new recipe you sent me last week. It turned out really well actually. I was a bit skeptical about the combination of flavors but it worked. The kids ate it without complaining which is always a win in my book. Let me know if you have any other suggestions I should try. I have been looking for something new to cook on the weekends when we have more time. I also wanted to ask if you have seen that new documentary series everyone is talking about. I started it last night and the cinematography is just stunning. The first episode really pulls you in. I think you would enjoy the pacing of it since you like slower storytelling that builds KyBm1kB2G5Hb gradually. Let me know what you think if you check it out. We should catch up properly soon maybe over coffee next Saturday if you are free. I feel like it has been too long since we just sat and talked about nothing in particular. There is a nice little place near the park that just opened and their cold brew is excellent.

I have been thinking about what you said regarding the community garden project. I went by the plot yesterday to see how things were coming along and the tomatoes are really starting to take off. The raised beds have made such a difference compared to last season. A few of the neighbors have already started harvesting their peppers and beans. I am hoping my squash will be ready in another week or two. It has been nice to have a reason to be outside more often. The weather has been cooperating for the most part with just enough rain to keep things watered. I saw that you signed up for the weekend watering rotation thank you for doing that. I know it is not always easy to fit into a busy schedule. If you ever need me to cover your slot just let me know. I am usually around on weekends anyway and I do not mind the extra time in the garden. There is something peaceful about being out there early in the morning before the heat sets in. The bees have been very active lately which is a good sign for the rest of the season. I think we should plan a small harvest gathering when everything is ready. Nothing fancy just a chance for everyone to enjoy the fruits of our labor.
