I was just thinking about that conversation we had last week about the garden project. I finally got around to checking the soil pH and it's more acidic than I expected. I might need to add some lime to balance it out. The tomatoes are coming along nicely though, and the basil is already taking off. I tried that pruning technique you mentioned and it seems to be working well. I'm hoping to get a good harvest this year. The weather has been cooperating nicely, with just the right amount of rain. I'll send you some pictures once everything starts fruiting. Let me know if you have any other tips for dealing with aphids, I noticed a few on the pepper plants t9ZGVf4Si0Vx I'm also thinking about adding some marigolds as companion plants to deter pests naturally. The compost pile is finally breaking down well and I should have some nutrient-rich soil ready by next season.

I finally finished reading that book you recommended last month. I have to say, the character development was really well done, especially the way the author built up the backstory of the main character over the course of the narrative. The plot twists caught me off guard a few times, which is rare for me. I could see the influence of some classic literature in the writing style, but it still felt fresh and original. The pacing dragged a bit in the middle chapters, but overall it was a satisfying read. I am thinking about picking up the sequel they just released. Have you read it yet? I would love to hear your thoughts on how it compares to the first one. The ending was really thought-provoking and left me wanting more. I also heard they might be adapting it into a film, which could be interesting if done well. Let me know what you think about the adaptation news.
