Hey, we finally made it to that trail you recommended. Honestly, the views were incredible. We started early, around 7 AM, which was perfect because the parking lot was already filling up when we finished. The switchbacks were a bit tough, especially towards the top, but totally worth it. We packed sandwiches and ate lunch right at the summit. There was a cool breeze, so we were glad we brought windbreakers. Next time, though, I'm definitely bringing more water. I ran out halfway down the descent. Let me know if you want to join us for the next one, probably in two weeks. We're thinking of trying the Ridge Loop if the weather holds up. I just finished that trilogy we were talking about. I have to say, the second book was my favorite, but the finale had some really satisfying moments. The character development of the main protagonist was surprisingly deep, and the world-building was just phenomenal. I stayed up way too late reading the last hundred pages. Now I have that empty feeling you get when a really good series ends. Have you started anything else lately? I need a new recommendation. Something lighter maybe, or a standalone novel. I think I need a break from epic fantasies for a week or two. Let me know what you think I should pick up next. I trust your taste in books.
