yeah I finally got around to trying that sourdough recipe you sent me last month it turned out way better than I expected the crust came out perfectly crispy and the inside was just the right amount of chewy I think the key was letting it proof overnight in the fridge like you said I added a little rosemary and sea salt on top which gave it a nice touch my kids ate almost the whole loaf in one sitting I'm going to try a cinnamon raisin version next time do you have a good recipe for that CV1DgUgVvuG2 I also wanted to ask if you've ever tried using a Dutch oven for baking bread I used a regular baking sheet but I've heard the Dutch oven method gives it a better crust and a more even rise I might pick one up if I can find a decent price anyway let me know what you think and if you have any other recipes you'd recommend for a beginner like me

oh I finally watched that documentary you recommended about the coral reefs it was absolutely stunning the footage was incredible and I had no idea how much work goes into reef restoration the part where they showed the baby corals being grown in labs before being transplanted really stuck with me it's amazing what science can do I've been thinking about ways to reduce my own impact maybe start using reef-safe sunscreen and being more mindful about what goes down the drain the documentary made me want to visit a reef someday but also made me realize how fragile they are have you seen any other good nature docs lately I'm looking for something new to watch I also started reading that book you mentioned about oceanography it's a bit dense but really interesting so far the chapter on deep sea creatures was wild I had no idea there were fish that could live at those depths it really makes you appreciate how much we still don't know about our own planet
