Hey, I finally got around to planting those tomatoes we talked about. The soil was a bit rocky at first, but I mixed in some compost and they seem to be taking off. I also added a few basil plants nearby since they're supposed to be good companions. Hopefully we'll have enough to make a big batch of sauce by late summer. Let me know if you want to come over and check the garden out sometime. I also tried that new fertilizer you mentioned, and it seems to be working really well so far. The leaves are much greener than last year. Anyway, let me know what you think. I'm hoping to get a good harvest this year since the weather has been pretty cooperative.

I started listening to that history podcast you recommended. The episodes on ancient Rome are fascinating, especially the ones about daily life rather than just the emperors and battles.
