Well, I think I saw exactly what you mean. I was just reading through the notes you sent and honestly, it reminds me of that time last fall when we were trying to coordinate the whole thing with the team. Nobody could agree on the schedule. I ended up just going ahead and booking the room myself. Sometimes you just have to take the lead and stop waiting for confirmation. The venue was great and we had a solid turnout. I’d say about thirty people showed up which was more than I expected. I was worried the announcement didn’t go out wide enough but apparently enough people caught it. So I was chatting with my neighbor about that new walking path they put in over by the park. He said it’s really nice but too short for a proper walk. I told him I’d been meaning to check it out but just haven’t had a chance. We talked for a while about the neighborhood and how it’s changing. He mentioned the new coffee shop that opened on the corner. I haven’t been yet but I heard the pastries are good. Anyway, it got me thinking we should do a walk there one evening when the weather cools down a bit. Let me know if you’d be interested.
