Yeah I totally agree with you about the weather lately. It's been so unpredictable - one day it's sunny and warm and the next you need a jacket. I was talking to my neighbor about it yesterday and she said the same thing. We're thinking about planting some new flowers in the front yard but with all this back and forth we're waiting another week or two to be safe. Anyway I finally watched that documentary you recommended last week and it was really good. The cinematography was stunning and the interviews were so well done. I learned a lot actually. Let me know if you have any other suggestions for things to watch. I'm always looking for good recommendations especially documentaries. Also I was thinking we should plan that hiking trip we talked about maybe sometime next month when the weather stabilizes a bit. Let me know what you think.

I also started reading that book you mentioned and I'm already halfway through. The characters are so well developed and the plot keeps me guessing. I'll probably finish it this weekend and then we can chat about it.

I just got back from the hardware store and I'm so excited to start this new project I've been planning. I'm going to build a small bookshelf for the living room. I've been watching tutorial videos online and I think I have a good handle on it. The wood is cut and I've got all the supplies ready to go. I'll probably start tomorrow morning when it's quiet. My neighbor said he'd lend me his nail gun which should make things a lot faster. I'm a little nervous since I haven't done much woodworking before but I think it'll turn out fine. If not it'll be a learning experience right? Anyway I was also thinking about reorganizing the garage next but that's a much bigger project so I'll tackle the bookshelf first. Also I tried that new coffee shop downtown and their cold brew is fantastic. You should check it out sometime.
