hey thanks for the recommendation on that podcast i started listening this morning while walking the dog it was really interesting the way they broke down the history of ceramic tile production i had no idea that the glazing process was so intricate and that certain regions in italy still use basically the same methods from the 1400s i forwarded the episode to my brother since he is renovating his kitchen and keeps complaining about tile prices he will probably find it useful i also liked the part where they discussed modern adaptations with recycled materials it gave me some ideas for a little art project i am helping with at the community center we are making mosaic stepping stones for the garden path and i might try to incorporate some of those techniques on a smaller scale let me know if you have other episodes like that i am hooked 6gboULWNWh4nj i will text you later about the weekend plan maybe we can grab coffee saturday morning before errands

yeah i totally agree with what you said about the hiking trail near pine ridge we went last weekend and the views at the summit were incredible but the last quarter mile was pretty steep with loose gravel so i can see why you recommended good boots we packed sandwiches and ate lunch on that big flat rock overlooking the valley i saw three deer on the way down just standing there watching us pass it was such a peaceful moment afterwards we stopped at that little bookstore downtown and i found a cookbook focused on one pot meals which is exactly what i need since i hate doing dishes the author includes a lot of tips for layering flavors so nothing tastes bland i tried the lentil and sweet potato stew last night and it was really hearty i am planning to make the chicken and rice version later this week the weather has been nice enough to sit on the porch while reading so i have been taking advantage of that before it gets too cold we should plan another outing soon maybe the loop trail at cedar creek i heard the fall colors are starting to show
