Yeah I totally get what you mean about getting lost in a good series! I just finished reading The Expanse and honestly I am kind of sad it is over. The world-building was incredible and the characters felt so real after nine books. Have you seen the show adaptation yet? I watched the first season before diving into the books and I think both stand really well on their own. Now I am looking for something new to sink my teeth into. Something lighter maybe a standalone thriller or a cozy mystery. If you have any recommendations let me know! I usually trust your book taste more than anyone else is. I tried starting a high fantasy epic but I just do not have the brain space for a thousand pages of lore right now. Need something gripping but not exhausting. Hope you are having a good week and finding time to read too.

Oh that gardening project sounds amazing! I am so jealous you finally got around to building those raised beds. We have been talking about doing the same thing for our backyard but keep putting it off because of the initial setup cost. Did you go with cedar or pressure-treated wood? I have heard cedar lasts longer but it is pricier. We grew tomatoes and bell peppers in containers last year and got a pretty decent harvest despite the weird weather. The squirrels were a menace though. We ended up having to net everything. I want to try carrots and maybe some zucchini this year if we can get the beds in soon. Spring is the perfect time for it. Let me know how your soil mix works out. We have heavy clay so we might need to do a lot of amending.
