Yeah I finally tried that place you recommended last week. The espresso was really smooth and the atmosphere was perfect for reading. 4elZtk3Rcdje1 I ended up staying for almost two hours just going through a few chapters. You were right about the pastries too the almond croissant was incredible. I think I found my new weekend spot honestly. Let me know if you want to meet up there sometime maybe this Saturday afternoon? I know you mentioned you had been wanting to go back too. The weather has been perfect for sitting outside lately so we could grab a table on the patio. I heard they also do live acoustic sets on Sunday mornings which sounds like a nice way to ease into the week. Let me know what you think about going together.
I also tried making their lavender latte at home and it turned out pretty good. Not quite the same but close enough for a weekday morning. I used oat milk instead of whole milk and it still worked well.

I finally started listening to that podcast series you mentioned a few weeks ago and I'm completely hooked. The storytelling style is so engaging and the host has a really calming voice which helps when I'm driving. I've made it through about six episodes so far and each one leaves me thinking about it for hours afterward. The research they put into each episode is impressive. I especially liked the episode about the history of botanical gardens. It made me want to visit one this spring. Have you been to any good ones recently? I remember you saying you had a membership somewhere. Let me know if you have any other recommendations I should add to my list. I have a long drive coming up next month so I need to stock up on good content.
I also started a new book series that reminds me of the one we talked about at dinner. The character development is really rich and the setting is beautifully described. I think you would enjoy it too.
