Hey, I finally got around to trying that hiking trail you mentioned last month. It was really nice, not too crowded on a weekday morning. The views at the top were absolutely worth the steep climb at the beginning. I packed a light lunch and just sat there for an hour enjoying the breeze. There were a few rocky sections where I had to watch my step, but overall it was very manageable for a moderate trail. Let me know if you want to go again sometime, maybe we can explore the connecting loop paths. I heard there's a nice waterfall if you take the northern fork about half a mile in. I'm planning to go back next weekend to check it out. Let me know if you're free!

I've been testing out that new recipe app you recommended and it's surprisingly good. The interface is really clean and the step-by-step instructions make it hard to mess up, even for a beginner like me. Last night I made a pretty decent creamy pasta sauce from scratch and it turned out way better than I expected. I added some grilled chicken and roasted vegetables on the side. The app also generates a shopping list automatically based on what you select to cook, which saved me a lot of time at the store. You should check out the dessert section too, I saw a chocolate lava cake recipe that I want to try this weekend. Let me know if you end up trying any of the meal prep plans they suggest.
