I finally watched that documentary you recommended last week. It was really well done, especially the cinematography in the second half. I had no idea about the history behind it all. Makes me want to visit that region someday. Anyway, I've been meaning to ask if you've tried that new Italian place downtown. I heard they have homemade pasta and the sauce is incredible. Let me know if you want to go check it out this weekend. I'm free Saturday afternoon if that works for you. We could grab a late lunch and then maybe walk around the park nearby. The weather forecast looks good for the weekend. Let me know what you think. Also I finished that book we were both reading and thought the ending was a bit predictable but the character development made up for it. Would love to hear your take when you finish it.
Hope you're doing well and that your project is coming along smoothly. I've been experimenting with some new recipes at home and found one for roasted vegetable soup that turned out amazing. If you're interested I can send you the link. It's perfect for cooler evenings.

I've been trying out a new morning routine for the past couple weeks and it's actually been really nice. Getting up earlier and going for a walk before the day starts. The air is so fresh and I see all these people walking their dogs. There's this one spot near the river where the light hits the water just right. I've started taking photos there almost every day. The changing light makes each shot feel different and unique. By the time I get back home I feel ready to tackle whatever comes up. It's nothing fancy but it works for me and helps clear my head.
A friend recommended a podcast about urban gardening that I've been listening to during the walks. It's surprisingly engaging and I've already picked up a few tips for my own little balcony setup. The herbs are doing well and I'm thinking about trying tomatoes next season.
