But our team has been hard at work on a new themed episode for this week’s podcast release honoring Father’s Day. We did a themed episode for Easter and heard from many of you that it was particularly meaningful when we pulled old clips from previous episodes as a reflection on the day.

As it turns out, we also had a lot of really interesting conversations with past guests about fathers (good and bad), fatherhood in general, infertility, and what it means to be a male role model.

Maybe you haven’t had a very good dad. Maybe you haven’t been a very good dad. Maybe sometimes you wonder, What does it mean to understand God as Father?
Well, if you’ve seen Jesus, you have seen the Father—because as John tells us, no one has ever seen God. The only God who is at the Father’s side, he has made him known. You have seen him, and you know him. And what he says to you as you cling to Jesus is exactly what he once said to Jesus: You are my beloved child, and in you I am well pleased.
