I think the trail you mentioned is a great choice for a weekend outing. The loop around the lake is roughly five miles with some gentle elevation changes, and the views should be nice this time of year. I would suggest bringing plenty of water and a light jacket because the wind picks up in the afternoon. If you plan to go early, the parking lot fills up by nine, so arriving before then would be best. There is a nice spot near the halfway point with a bench where you can rest and take photos. Also, if you have not been to that area before, the road leading to the trailhead has some narrow sections, so take it slow. The whole loop took us about three hours with a few stops, and the terrain is mostly packed dirt with some rocky patches near the stream crossing. Should be a good time.

I looked into the options for the team gathering next month and the conference room on the third floor is available on the dates you mentioned. It holds about twenty people comfortably and has a display screen for presentations. The kitchen area nearby has a coffee machine and a refrigerator if people want to bring their own food. We could also arrange for catering from that sandwich shop a few blocks away, they do delivery and have a good selection. I would suggest sending out an invitation soon to get a headcount so we know how many to expect. If the weather is nice, there is also a rooftop terrace accessible from the fourth floor where people can step out for a break.
