I finally tried that new coffee shop on Elm Street and honestly I get the hype now. The pour-over was smooth and the seating area is set up perfectly for reading. They have these little nooks with armchairs and warm lighting so you can actually sit for a couple hours without feeling rushed. I brought my current book and finished two chapters before my coffee even got cold. The barista recommended a single-origin from Ethiopia that had this blueberry note I wasn't expecting but totally worked. I think I found my new weekend spot. The only downside is parking can be tight but if you go before 10am it's fine. I might try their cold brew next time since apparently they steep it for 24 hours. Anyway just thought I'd share because I know you've been looking for a good place to read that isn't the library or a chain.
