Honestly I just got back from that trip and the weather was way better than I expected. We were supposed to get rain the whole time but ended up with sunshine almost every day. The hiking trail we found on the second morning was completely empty and the views from the ridge were incredible. I kept thinking about how you said the maps looked confusing but honestly once you're out there it all makes sense. The little café near the pier had the best chowder and the server told us the secret is a splash of sherry at the end. We almost skipped it because the line looked long but it moved fast. I should probably send you the photos when I get a chance. Let me know if you want me to forward the itinerary because the route we ended up doing worked really well and the stops were spaced out perfectly.

I finally got around to organizing that shelf in the garage and honestly it was way overdue. Found a box of old notebooks from college and spent way too long flipping through them last night. The handwriting is hilarious and half the notes don't even make sense now. I think I was trying to invent some kind of shorthand that only worked for about two weeks.
