rUwO3tGLvJlR Hey, I finally caught up on that series you mentioned. I binged the last three episodes last night. The third episode had a twist I didn't see coming at all. I think the pacing slowed down a bit in the middle of the season but the finale really made up for it with that emotional payoff. I also started reading the book it's based on – there are quite a few differences that make both versions interesting. Let me know if you want to borrow the book when I'm done. I can drop it off next time I'm heading to the farmer's market. We should grab coffee after. I've been meaning to try that new place on Elm Street that roasts its own beans. Let me know what your weekend looks like. Also, did you ever find a replacement for that garden shears? Mine just broke and I need a recommendation. The weather has been perfect for working in the yard lately. I'm hoping to get the tomatoes in the ground this week. Hope all is well!

I also started a new hobby – tried watercolor painting last Sunday. It was surprisingly relaxing. I'm not very good yet but it’s fun to mix colors. I'll send you a picture when I finish something half decent. Anyway, hit me up when you're free.

I tried making sourdough from scratch again this weekend, and this time it actually rose. The starter took about a week to get bubbly. I used a recipe from a friend and it turned out crusty on the outside and soft inside. I added a bit of rosemary and sea salt on top, which gave it a nice flavor. My kids ate half the loaf before dinner, so I guess it's a success. I also experimented with a no-knead technique that saves a lot of time. The key was letting it rest overnight in the fridge. Next I want to try a cinnamon raisin version. Let me know if you have a good recipe for that. Also, we finally booked that cabin trip for early fall, the one with the lake view. I'm already thinking about what books to bring. Hope your week is going smoothly.
