Hey, thanks for your note earlier. I finally got around to checking that book you recommended — the one about urban gardening. I'm only about fifty pages in but it's surprisingly engaging. I never thought I'd care so much about compost ratios and vertical planters. The author has a really laid back way of explaining things that doesn't feel like a textbook. I also started looking at balcony layouts over the weekend and sketched out a few ideas. Nothing too serious yet, just seeing what might fit. Work has been steady but nothing crazy. I swapped shifts with a coworker so I have next Thursday off which should give me time to actually finish a project for once. Let me know if you've read anything else lately that's worth picking up. I'm always open to suggestions even if they seem offbeat.

So I finally tried that pasta recipe you sent me last month. I know it took forever but I wanted to do it right. I used sun dried tomatoes and fresh basil from the farmer's market. The sauce came out a little thicker than I expected but honestly it was still really good. I paired it with a simple side salad and some garlic bread. My roommate even asked for leftovers the next day which is always a good sign. I think next time I'll add a bit more lemon zest to brighten it up. I've been cooking more in general lately and it's been a nice way to unwind after work. Nothing too elaborate just solid meals that don't require a million steps. If you have any other recipes that are similarly straightforward I'd love to try them. I'm also thinking of finally organizing my spice rack because it's gotten a bit chaotic. Small goals but they add up.
