The weather held up for most of the afternoon, though we did get a brief shower just as we reached the cabin. The staff prepared a warm meal that evening which was welcoming after the long walk. On the way back we stopped at the market to pick up some local produce. It turned out to be a well balanced trip with enough time to relax and explore.

I have been working on refining the workflow for the monthly report. The previous format required a lot of manual data entry which was prone to errors. I found a way to automate the data import from the main database using a series of SQL queries. This will reduce the preparation time significantly and improve the accuracy of the figures.
